I’m sixty. The first record I ever bought was a 45 record. It was Tommy Roe singing his hit song “Dizzy”. I LOVED that song. In ‘69 I was six years old. We had one of those turntables that was kinda like a suitcase. You’d open it up and the speakers you’d position on the side of the turntable. We could move them out a ways as we had a length of speaker wire attached to them. But I’d carry that record and record player all around our house and play that song. I probably drove my siblings crazy. But those were some good times.
❤️💜💚
I like 7 songs out of 10 songs that were picked out for this TikTok including: Tommy Roe's "Dizzy"; B.J. Thomas' "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head"; Bobby Gentry's "I'll Never Fall In Love Again"; Shocking Blue's "Venus"; Blood, Sweat, & Tears' "You Made Me So Very Happy"; CCR(Creedence Clearwater Revival)'s "Bad Moon Rising"; unfortunately Frank Sinatra's "My Way". I also like most songs of that era, year, decade, and of course most songs of yesteryear..
Hippies, long hair, peace signs, flowers and beads = great music. Good show!

I forgot how good 60's tech was. several performers voices were heard with no mic in sight.
