  1. 50 was the hottest rapper in the world, all the other New York legends had been out for years, 50 started beefing with all of them and told the audience to not mess with them, and that's exactly what they did. 50 kept the spotlight all to himself, plus he was pulling strings behind the scenes to stop other New York rappers from shining. That's why he killed New York hip hop, there was no more unity.

  2. Fif was a beast. I am european, and not much else than Aftermath artists, 50, Akon and maybe Jay-Z got radio play during the early 00's where I live.
    While 50 might have had some influence on fans to not listen to other NY artists, I find it funny that someone who actually works in radio will put all the blame for other rappers not getting radio play, on Fif alone
