Ok so Ben Rose is usually on drums in these songs. HOWEVER, he is also OFTEN producing the songs. And he doesn’t THINK of himself as a drummer. Which is CRAZY…because he’s an insanely good drummer. But I guess he’s also an incredible producer, so I get it? Still, it’s impressive, anytime Jack and Ben switch places in the studio, and suddenly Jack is ripping on drum, and Ben nails the piano parts. Such virtuosic versatility…

Cant understand the negativity from some. What a gift to be a fly on the wall and watch/listen to their process. I love it all and they are true musicians: no ego, kind with boundless energy towards the creative process. I’d love to be in that room and just sit and listen. Y’all are fantastic humans.
