“The Doors had the ability to make the largest arena venues feel intimate, and the smallest club venues feel like the sites of epic voyages into the outer reaches of sound.” -DIG MAGAZINE
The Band from Venice always knew how to put on a great show – If you were lucky enough to see The Doors live, what was it like?

The Doors channel is the official YouTube home of classic Doors live performances, The Doors albums, and contemporary performances and content honoring The Doors featuring John Densmore and Robby Krieger.
With an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of singer Jim Morrison’s poetry and presence, The Doors had a transformative impact not only on popular music but on popular culture.
The Doors’ arrival on the rock scene in 1967 marked not only the start of a string of hit singles and albums that would become classics, but also of something much bigger – a new and deeper relationship between creators and audience. Refusing to be mere entertainers, the Los Angeles quartet relentlessly challenged, confronted and inspired their fans, leaping headfirst into the heart of darkness while other bands warbled about peace and love. Though they’ve had scores of imitators, there’s never been another band quite like them.

Do you hope to make her see you fool?
Do you hope to pluck
This dusty jewel?.
Love The Doors Wish I Was Around To See Them Live
❤
I love the doors.
Was unfortunately born 30 years too late to see them live…
Jim Morrison And The Doors RULE!!! O'B
I wonder why it’s so important to some people to have seen bands live. I prefer not to have seen The Doors live.
Saw them three times in concert…each one was an amazing show.
I didn’t see them live. But my grandpa did. And he told me awesome stories about it. That it was quite the experience.
The Doors were best live That was when Jim Morrison was most creative 😊
Im 13 and i love the doors
It was amazing! I was in such awe, actually hearing them perform songs I heard on the radio!!! This was at the Hollywood Bowl. It's still hard to believe that I actually saw them live 💙🤎💙🤎💙
❤
Benidorm’03 with Ian Astbury excellent concert 👌
I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl where the video was filmed and 4 other times. I always lived in L A and was able to see these great bands, the Doors, Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, the Seeds and others.
Saw them in 68 when I was 15. They changed the world
Wish I had the privilege of seeing this amazing talented group jm was really talented with his song writing he could draw you into a trance, listen to his lyrics on "This is the end" "The crystal ship" and "Unknown soldier " jm is in a class of his own, ray on the keyboards, John on the drums, robby on guitar these guys were way ahead of their time I've never listened to another band draw me in to an unforgettable performance as the doors, watch the documentary on them you will learn things you never knew, it's just a shame jim broke on thru the other side and joined the 27 club imagine how much more they could have given us ❤❤❤
Freedom hall 1968 Louisville Kentucky. I was a short 12 year old. The place was packed. Adults towering over my friends and I. Making viewing the stage difficult. However I did get a very good look at Jim Morrison. He wore his white shirt that day. As he sang he was holding (hugging) onto large pedestal stage microphone moving very little. The band played very loud. You could not converse with the person beside you. As kids do. We left our seats went to bathroom. That’s when the Doors played Light My Fire. So we raced back to our seats. 😆Thanks to my friend Perry for inviting me to tag along with them.
Riders on the storm
I wish I knew🥺 but actually I was just born back then.
Best band ever. Love you JIM ❤❤❤❤

Beautiful. Hi, Doors. I see you. 🚪🌎
The Valley Music Theater in the San Fernando Valley..opening groups: The Rainy Daze, Love & a couple others…The Aquarius theater in Hollywood with Bo Diddley, Love, Canned Heat & few other groups & the Hollywood Bowl..The mood before they took stage was electric, a sense of danger and the unknown, simply amazing & they didn’t disappoint ..kind of like being at a Trump rally..
Filmore Auditorium San Francisco. Late 60s or early 70s. The organ notes were floating on the SF fog when I arrived. Was Morrison drunk or stoned? The mic stand seemed to be the only thing holding him up. Yet, a fabulous show. Light My Fire was the song that first grabbed my attention and I was hooked.
I was cruizing the sunset strip in my 64
GTO with 3 friends smoking weed and
Drinking beer they were playing live
I wanted to cruize 17YRS OLD.
Unforgettable.

Hello I love you, won't you tell me your name?
Un des meilleurs groupes des années 60's
💪💪💪💪✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️👍👍👍💐💐💐
STRONG LOVE❤
Best front man and best band ever ❤️❤️
I saw them live twice! Everyone was spellbound. He studied the psychology of crowds, so Jim himself plus the music just takes you on a journey. We came out in a daze with sweaty palms. I couldn’t eat for two weeks.
Самая КрУтая Рок группа с1965 по 1971 год
I missed the Doors by just five years. I wish I had gotten to see them. My first concert (at age 14) was Led Zeppelin in 1975.
Forever The Doors
i saw them in movies
