I don’t think their voices are similar at all. Ja Rule has a deep, thick voice like Vin Diesel. DMX had a gravelly voice kinda like Tom Waits. Tom Waits and Vin Diesel sound nothing alike. DMX and Ja Rule sound nothing alike. Only similarity is the pitch. Even the topics they cover tend to be different (like he said).
Why are you all saying they were friends? X took multiple shots at Ja and made his feelings on him clear, we really going to jump on Jas stories now X is gone?
What same voice? Dude, go wash your ears DMX has a tougher and harder voice, yours is known for softy songs. Ja Rule sounds like a really cheap version of 2Pac, that's it.

I enjoy both of their music but i dont see how people got their voices mixed up. X rhyme style was totally different then ja. Beside rule hardest album was his first.
Im sure they had some issue’s voice wise,but i can almost guarantee its because ja rule was beefing with 50 cent & dmx rode with 50 & Ems camp throughout the duration is dmx & ja fell out alil. Especially dmx & eminem made that song “go to sleep” #classic 👍🏽

It was more then this, X was getting mad because Ja Rule was exploding and got more popular. X got really jealous of Ja and started saying he was sound like him because he was mad. People who rolled with these dudes knew that and confirmed it
