I forgot all about Elvin Bishop. I think it's hilarious that Elvin didn't even sing his one hit!
Next you'll be telling us that Gary Wright didn't sing Dreamweaver (for some reason, those songs are inextricably linked in my mind).
There are a number of bands whose hits were nothing like their main body of work. Quicksilver Messenger Service had two famous tracks, "Fresh Air" "What Are You Going To Do About Me", but their other tracks were garage-esque blues stuff. I believe the Ozark Mountain Daredevils were nothing like their 1970's hit, "Jackie Blue".

I had no Idea Micky Thomas did the lead vocal…all this time I thought it was Elvin Bishop! I even saw it on The Midnight Special all those years ago, thinking Micky Thomas was Elvin Bishop! Maybe it was the weed! 😂 Still love that Song!
