That Sixties Music – “How Sweet It Is” – was James Taylor’s Version THE BEST VERSION?

It was a number one hit for James Taylor – but it wasn’t the first recording of the song. Was Marvin Gaye’s original better than either James Taylor’s or Junior Walker’s versions?

James, Marvin, Junior
Marvin, James, Junior, but I didn't know Junior Walker covered it. I know how the other two sound in their entirety, but not Junior's. Consequently, I may have to recuse myself as a judge in these proceedings.
James Taylor's version is best, hands down.
I love Junior Walker, though. Was just listening to What Does It Take (to Win Your Love).
Thanks for another great video. 😊♥️
I like Junior Walker's version, but the updated and smooth JT version gets my vote.
James, Marvin, Junior
Marvin Marvin Marvin
Marvin #1 by a landslide😁
Junior #2
1, 2 and then 3
Marvin
Junior
James Taylor all day
Jerry Garcia band's version is pretty good
Tell you the truth. I can pass on all three. Just one of those songs that sounds better coming from a stereo system than an old time transistor radio filter you use. Can't forget those AM car radio days. No fancy car stereo sound but the old mono speaker in the middle of the dash.
Marvin Gaye and Junior Walker
Marvin, of course Marvin
I think they are all good. James Taylor was wise to pick out such a good song.
