Linda Ronstadt had a #1 with “You’re No Good”, but it wasn’t the first time around for the song. Was an earlier version better?

  1. I'll go with the 1964 version of You're No Good by the British band The Swinging Blue Jeans. Short & sweet. They sound like if the early 60's Beatles did a cover of You're No Good.

A Swinging Blue Jeans member, Terry Sylvester, joind them in 1966. By 1969. He left The Swinging Blue Jeans to replace Graham Nash on The Hollies.

  2. My choice will be 1964's British band The Swinging Blue Jeans version of You're No Good. They sound if the early 1960's Beatles covered the song. A future Swinging Blue Jean member Terry Sylvester joined in 1966. He left in 1969 to replace Graham Nash on The Hollies. Where he stayed until 1981. The only Swinging Blue Jean in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
