DMX just has much more of a body of work. Pac had great music and great lyrics but there isn’t enough of it really to stack up to a guy like DMX imo.

DMX was way better than pac as an artist. All pac could do was rap poetry. But dmx was actually doing all types of styles of hiphop and he was the number one selling rap artist all the way up to Eminem. And no other hip hop artists have ever achieved what dmx had achieved. And Tupac was out out before dmx and still haven’t sold as much as dmx, nor did he release 5 number one albums IN A ROW BACK TO BACK, nor did Tupac have TWO NUMBER ONE ALBUMS IN THE SAME YEAR!! The accolades speak for themselves. Tupac is the most over rated artist to ever exist and that’s FACTS!! Name one thing that made him such a dope artist besides his poetry…. I’m talking actual talent, actual flows and actual lyricism. Dmx is by far the better artist! There is no debate except from the entitled groupie fanboys that refuse to accept reality and keep thinking their opinions are law and erase proven facts. If Tupac was such a dope artist then he would have sold as much as dmx IF NOT MORE! And he would have had 5 number one albums back to back! Even after he died when people went out and bought his music IN MASS WAVES still wasn’t enough to top dmx numbers!! It speaks for itself and anyone trying to make excuses just sounds like a complete moron and fool that is delusional. You can’t change facts to fit your feelings and beliefs!
