this was a big hit when I as a teen. One of the local churches supported a "coffee house", a place where barely teens could hang out on a weekend night. We had a little festival the church called "Get Together", and local kids (think 15 and under) got to get up in front of everybody and sing and/or play. I got up with guitar in hand…I don't even remember what I played…Disaster city, (for me) I was playing a popular song and the audience seems to pay no attention whatsoever. I was embarrassed and terrified….and that is why I stayed a hobby guitarist.
